So, it's easy to be enthusiastic about this flashlight. The AYL-80 is a nicely styled tactical flashlight and is rugged looking without appearing bulky. It is relatively compact at just over 6-1/2", but packs all of the function of a larger, more cumbersome flashlight. Its adjustable beam operates smoothly, with impressive pinpoint vision at a distance--perfect for nighttime adventures. The telescoping body adds another 3 inches to its length for good lantern-type illumination or red-flashing emergency lighting. The body is a little tight to pull into its telescoping position. However, the flashlight remains secure in the extended position, whether positioned horizontally or vertically with its strong removable magnet which makes it perfect for emergency car or bicycle repair.

The AYL-80 requires four AAA batteries which are not included. 

This flashlight would be an excellent addition to a student's backpack, car glovebox, emergency or first aid kit or even a nightstand for sudden power outages. And it's perfect for walking the dog on a dark evening.

I can read a license plate from 100 feet away!
